Where's a legitimate source or reason for The Notorious B.I.G. being in the writing credits?

[edit]

I saw in the writing credits section of the article that a lot of names were mentioned. One of them was "Christopher Wallace", that name being the given name of East-Coast Hip Hop legend The Notorious B.I.G.. It's been 17 years since his passing. What kind of legitimate connection does he have with this song? Did the beat or track itself get sampled from one of his songs? Did Too Short himself take a verse, or part of a verse, that Biggie wrote or Short and Biggie wrote together (because Short has collaboration history with Biggie)? Was this song written during Biggie's lifetime (I most highly doubt that because Chris Brown himself would have been 8 years old, and what the hell would he know about the subject of this song back then)? Can somebody please put a reference to this or reply to this post? And, while we're at it, how do Mase, D-Dot, Ty Dolla Sign and Sean Combs have writing credits, too? (I do know Ty made a cameo in the actual music video). IbinjaminSpirit (talk) 19:10, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@IbinjaminSpirit: It is a sample credit for BIG, Mase, D-Dot and Combs. Ty Dolla Sign wrote Chris Brown's first verse. STATic message me! 02:14, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@STATicVapor: Somebody should put in a source reference for that in this article. IbinjaminSpirit (talk) 02:53, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
