The name should be changed to Ros a' Mhíl, as this is the Irish name in this gaeltacht region ==86.45.97.29 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 00:01, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change

The official name of the area is Ros an Mhíl, the current name of the article is an unofficial and rarely used Anglicization. Road signs in the area itself do not use the name Rossaveal, and neither should this article.

Your rarely used anglization has about 9 time more hits on Google than the Gaelic name. We still have to adhere to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English) The Banner talk 22:46, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
