More information!

[edit]

I'm not a music historian, but perhaps this work deserves more respect from Wikipedia, a longer article with more information about this masterpiece. It's up there with Mozart's Requiem, so why not accord this article some more care. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.0.192.72 (talk) 04:45, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dies irae setting?

[edit]

"Much of the music is based on Pergolesi's earlier setting of the Dies irae sequence" – Colud somebody please check this? I doubt that music in this style would be appropriate for a Dies Irae setting. – 92.249.229.148 (talk) 06:35, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
