What the heck is this doing in WikiProject Anime and manga when neither of the comics had anything to do with anime or manga? One comic was entirely American, the other was entirely British. JIP | Talk 07:09, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What were the subterranaean aliens/robots called in issue 76 of the comics? i think they ate alot of remaining transformers robots

Mechannibals?

No, they were referred to by Furman simply as 'Demons', cf. 'Demons' (TF UK #246) and 'Dawn Of Darkness' (TF UK #247), both collected in the Aspects of Evil trade paperback. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 11:04, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Following the Comic Project naming conventions this should be The Transformers (Marvel Comics), I'll leave this a few days to see if any ideas/objections emerge. (Emperor (talk) 15:14, 19 April 2008 (UTC))[reply]

The Biography additions

[edit]

There's no mention of the 4-issue mini-series of the Transoformers biographies. There's also 'biography' pieces at the end of some of the regular issues. PS- Sure wish I had 'citations' for these. GoodDay (talk) 19:48, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required

[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. Character list too long

[edit]

The list of character list seems too long to me. On my screen, this article takes about nine pages, of which five are used by the character list. That's about 55 percent. When you contrast this with what information content the list has - so-and-so made an appearance in the comic - I feel that the length is not justified at all. If the whole list isn't removed, then at least it should be shortened by at least making teams only list the team itself, not individual members. There were hardly any cases where some members of a team appeared in the comic and some did not. JIP | Talk 19:58, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely. Actually, I was thinking it should be turned into a table of some sort, rather than just a long list of plain text. I don't know table coding, though.76.226.124.13 (talk) 19:30, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image?

[edit]

Shouldn't be blank like that would something like http://marvel.wikia.com/File:Transformers_Vol_1_1.jpg be appropriate? Clearly there will be no free image appropriate for use, would this one fall under fair use? I assume so since issue 3's cover is used later on to illustrate a point, but I'm no expert on this image rights stuff and don't want some bot coming along and complaining, so someone else can figure out if it's allowed, I just want to suggest it.76.226.124.13 (talk) 19:36, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hasbro

[edit]

I think "Created by: Hasbro" in the infobox is wrong. All Hasbro did was create the original toys and supervise the content so that the toys keep on selling. The entire fiction - heck, right down to the names of the toys - was done my Marvel. Shouldn't the infobox be changed to "Created by: Marvel"? JIP | Talk 02:12, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
