'Sad Lovers and Giants'

[edit]

I happened to spot the reversion of this group from the notable people section of the article. Sad Lovers and Giants seem notable enough to have their own Wikipedia article, so is their summary exclusion, without a proper reason being given, really justified? Two of their albums got 4.5 stars out of 5 and one other got 4 stars from All Music reviewers, and they have made several other albums. A case for a reconsideration? Do any of the notable members of the band hail from Watford? The section is about notable people rather than 'collectives'.. Usually an article about a town like Watford would have a section on Entertainment / Culture which is where a Group would be included. There is none for Watford so you could start a new section and then include mention of the Band within the prose of this topic as long as you can find a citation to this effect. Title

[edit]

Kanguole or anyone, would you please direct me to the guideline which prevents Watford, Hertfordshire title but allows Watford, Northamptonshire title? I do not understand your edit summary. Thank you. Mugginsx (talk) 13:49, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

Sorry for being unclear – the relevant guideline is WP:Disambiguation. The town in Hertfordshire is the primary topic for this name, so it whould have the undisambiguated name, per UK:PLACE. Kanguole 15:16, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Thanks. Mugginsx (talk) 15:59, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Work on a major road scheme

[edit]

Viewed from the A4178, early work on a major road scheme, where Wiggenhall Industrial Estate stood, is in progress. I cannot find reference to this to include in the article. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks, — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 09:19, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Try searching for "Watford health campus link road". Kanguole 10:17, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, thank you. I had wondered if it was an extension to the M1 Link Road (A4008}. — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 10:27, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
