Can anyone find any other articles they think should be added to this template? --Woodgreener (talk) 15:28, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense to me. --Woodgreener (talk) 21:31, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Added a few Lib Dem shadow cabinet articles I created today, along the ones that have been created for the Conservatives. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 22:27, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Breakaway parties

[edit]

If the Liberal Party (UK, 1989) is included in the "Breakaway parties" section should the Social Democratic Party (UK, 1988) also be included? The new Liberal Party was founded by old Liberal Party members who were opposed to the merger of their party with the original SDP to create what became the Liberal Democrats (initially the Social and Liberal Democrats). The second SDP was essentially the same story from the SDP side, the differences being 1) it took more supporters including MPs and the leader of the SDP 2) It was established much more quickly and before the SDP-Liberal merger was formally concluded. I would appreciate other editors' thoughts on this. Dunarc (talk) 22:43, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
