Add dates of change...?

[edit]

Have just converted dividing dots to arrows to indicate progression; in lieu (or in addition), however, maybe the year when a change occurred might be added before a city/ies...? e.g.

(United States Congress row:)  New York City · [Year] Philadelphia · [Year] Washington, D.C. (...less the square brackets)

If so, I don't know these years 'down pat' and I'm not sure they're readily obtainable from the articles, so help would be much appreciated. Regards, David Kernow (talk) 02:34, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This template doesn't quite sync with List of capitals in the United States#Historical national capitals. That article is sourced, so this template should probably be updated to match it. — Jonathan Kovaciny (talk|contribs) 21:44, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
