Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dalia Grybauskaitė and the occupations of her father

[edit]

Hello. Would you please clarify when the facts of Grybauskaitė father's biography can be called "official"? He is deceased. His affiliation to the Soviet partisans and the NKVD is well-substantiated although remains unconfirmed by the president herself. As it is a highly politically sensitive subject it is unlikely she will ever confirm it. If we were to apply this rule uniformly across Wikipedia no negative personal information would ever enter these pages unless expressly confirmed by the person (say, Lindsay Lohan). May I remind you that no doubts have been officially or legally raised about the authenticity of the documents and biographical information provided by Ekspertai.eu and the TV3 program (subsequently censored before airing). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarunas.a (talkcontribs) 08:05, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nerimdaičiai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Cheers, LindsayHello 06:18, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I requested deletion because the version i saw had been hijacked completely by a non-notable entity. I have restored the previous article. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programme. Sorry for the intrusion, Cheers, LindsayHello 06:29, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity

[edit]

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
