Home Rule

[edit]

Thanks for you edit. In the sentance "Over the course of its existence the movement incorporated different concepts of home rule, from a self-governing Ireland still within a larger British state, to a fully independent republic." The reason I changed from a larger British state to the larger British state in this sentence was because it sounds like by granting home rule to Ireland it would make the British state a larger state. How would granting home rule make the British state larger than it already is? Maybe its just the way I'm reading it. AlwynJPie (talk) 01:42, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So explain how clarifying which type of "football" being played is disruptive. You seem to be awfully sensitive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.4.109 (talk) 00:44, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. AlwynJPie (talk) 18:32, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gaeltacht na nDéise

[edit]

WP:IMOS states that where 'the Irish name is official and has gained favour in English, use the official Irish name'. The place names An Rinn and An Sean Phobal fulfill these criteria and as such the Irish version of the place names should be used. Críostóir Ó Faoláin (talk) 20:13, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited County Donegal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Robert Montgomery. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
