Information icon Hello, I'm Ahunt. I noticed that you made a comment on the page HAL Tejas that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. @Echo1Charlie: yes I saw it. Is that the problem with Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa. N Jeevan (talk) 18:27, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, He's a bangladeshi editor, removing cited content with opinionated irrational reasons- Echo1Charlie (talk) 18:36, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Echo1Charlie: Yes I also saw his recent contribution. I think he has been engaged in an edit war. If he continues this still more we shall complain this to admim. But before that he should be given warning about the Wikipedia policies and guidelines. N Jeevan (talk) 18:41, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User:Echo1Charlie, User:N Jeevan Did I delete anything without explanation? Is there no logic in my words? I am not involved in any edit war against you. My explanations, (1) Arjun MBT article: (1.1)The FMBT related information is based on an old reference but no further updates available from official sources. (1.2) T-90 is the first choice of the Indian Army. Arjun MBT has already earned a reputation as one of the worst MBTs ever made. Business Standard India mentioned "the results are still officially secret". Then how those media provided such detailed information? (2)Indian 6th generation fighter: (2.1) Neither any 6th generation fighter program announced by India yet nor name of any future 6th generation fighter anounced as "HAL AMCA MK2/Mark2". The reality is Indian 5th generation HAL AMCA is still in prototype development process as of 2021.  (3) Conclusion: The main problem of Indian editors is that you compare Indian planned projects (mostly unofficial or obsolete) with the real running projects of other countries. Labelling "HAL AMCA MK2" as a 6th generation fighter project is an example of this. In my personal opinion, India will not be able to replace all Russian-made tanks with its indigenous tanks. I doubt whether any new Indian indigenous tank after Arjun MK1A will enter the Indian Army in the near future. I have more doubts whether HAL will be able to build a mature fifth generation fighter in the right time as per the plan. You two have to be patient until the details of any Indian military project is revealed by the Indian officials. I request you to use latest official data only. You will be responsible if rumors are spread through Wikipedia. Amature YouTubers and Facebook generals used the information you added here to create YouTube videos and Facebook posts to fool those who don't know much about the military technology. I hope you now understand my motive.Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa (talk) 20:43, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa: Yes you have given explanations and reasons about your edits, but it is not proper.

  1. Firstly I didn't ask your opinion whether HAL can make mature  fifth generation fighters or India will not be able to replace all Russian-made tanks with its indigenous tanks, edits should not be made on your personal opinions in Wikipedia. Yes I agree that HAL AMCA is a fifth generation fighter but it will be also having 6th gen technologies to stay relevant to coming decades and this is being confirmed by IAF Chief. We always use only confirmed sources but not rumours. You tell that Amature YouTubers and Facebook generals used the information that I added here to create YouTube videos and Facebook posts to fool those who don't know much about the military technology. How can you tell this. Do you have any proof that the YouTube videos and FB posts are been done because of my edits?
  2. Secondly the sources used in the FMBT section are confirmed as there is a need for new tanks to replace t-72, DRDO has confirmed to develop new tank based on Indian Army's requirements. There is no rule in Wikipedia that only new sources should be used. Note that edits should not be made based on your personal opinions. I think you understand, thank you.

- N Jeevan (talk) 07:21, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa: Greetings
  1. FMBT: FMBT related information is constructed using old to new references (from 2010 to 2021), it's essential to convey how it was started and how it was progressed, Can you imagine bangladesh (country) article without the history how it was formed?!
  2. "Arjun MBT has already earned a reputation as one of the worst MBTs ever made" - according to who? redddit community? red effect? it's not you, me or them decides whether it's good or bad, there's a written rule on Wikipedia that edit should be made with citation and no space for original research which apparently means your opinion has no value on wikipedia articles, the same logic applies to the 6th generation fighter.
  3. The part about Indian Editors would be considered as personal attack and shaming a respected community, which would be reported
  4. "In my personal opinion, India will..." - That's the first rule your personal opinion has no value on Wikipedia articles!
  5. "I have more doubts.." - you can, but don't take that to Wikipedia

- Echo1Charlie (talk) 05:49, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User:Echo1Charlie Bangladesh has become independent after 9 months of bloody war. India helped us in its own interest. In any case, we are grateful for what India did in 1971. But what india is doing now is nothing but hostility. However this is not related to this topic. I am not against any India related Wikipedia articles. I am against creating propaganda in Wikipedia. I did not add any personal opinions to Wikipedia articles too. Good luck. Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa (talk) 06:40, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa: "I am against creating propaganda in Wikipedia" - yeah me too, Type 59 Durjoy - this article perfectly fit for that, I'm currently exploring options, will let you know. -Echo1Charlie (talk) 06:48, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Echo1Charlie I have no problem with this. Those are old junk tanks. Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa (talk) 06:55, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamato Bismarck Hood Iowa: you're mistaken, I've no disrespect to this or any Bangladeshi wikipedia articles, but mentioned it as it fit this context and your comment which I've highlighted -Echo1Charlie (talk) 06:59, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
