1959 Pan American Games

The 1959 Pan American Games were held in Chicago, Illinois, United States between August 28 and September 7, 1959. The event was opened by Milton S. Eisenhower, the brother of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower.[1] It was held at Soldier Field. The United States won the most medals winning 121 gold medals and a total of 252 medals. Argentina and Canada came in second and third place.
