AMD Radeon (/ˈrdiɒn/) is a brand name by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Several computer products are sold under the brand. For example, graphics processing units (GPUs), random-access memory (RAM),[source?] and overclocking software. These products are produced by Radeon Technologies Group, a division of AMD.[1]

Radeon's main competitor is Nvidia with their GeForce, Quadro, RTX and Tesla line of graphics cards.

As a brand name, Radeon was created by ATI Technologies, but then AMD purchased the company in 2006 for $5.6 billion.[2]
