James Gammon

Richard Gammon (April 20, 1940 – July 16, 2010) was an American actor and entertainer. He was known for his role as Ulysses S. Grant in Lincoln, Mr. Sutherland in Wyatt Earp, and as Lou Brown in Major League.

Gammon was born on April 20, 1940 in Newman, Illinois.[1] Gammon was married to Nancy Jane Kapusta from 1972 until his death in 2010. Gammon died on July 16, 2010 from adrenal and liver cancer in Costa Mesa, California, aged 70.[2]
