Norman Lamont

Norman Stewart Hughson Lamont, Baron Lamont of Lerwick (born 8 May 1942) is a British politician. He was born in the Shetland Islands. He read Economics at the University of Cambridge. He was the Member of Parliament for Kingston-upon-Thames from 1972-1997. He was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1990-1993. He was made a life peer in July 1998.[1] He is the director of an investment company.
