@Larske: edit we will never have his entry as they have cancelled the SPARQL project. If you can design a working solution your are more than welcome.... My understanding
- we should store the Nobel id in Wikidata e.g. 977 as it is stable
- we have today property P3188 (P3188) to avoid en:Link rot (list)
- formatting string https://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/$1-facts.html
Problem is that
- Nobelprize has redesigned the web -> the formatting string is not working for many entries... my understanding is that they have started to do redirects but is not done for all pages....
- one solution is wait on next version of the API and hope it will solve our problems
- change the formatting URL so it works e.g. https://www.nobelprize.org/$1 and then repopulate the property
- I have tried speak with the Nobel people but gets no good answer more than a new version of the API is coming see T234889#5558607
