Though former US military honchos have rejected the reported UFO sightings as drones at the hearing of a Congressional Subcommittee, more people have come out claiming to have seen the Unidentified Flying Objects. According to 'USA Today', more than a dozen workers of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre claimed that they spotted a dark metallic disk north of the amphitheater at around 1 a.m. on June 5, 2024. They said that the object appeared to be several hundred feet long hovered for 30 seconds, flew eastward at about 5-10 mph and vanished. According to a report submitted by the National UFO Reporting Center, the amphitheater employees said the "large disc-shaped craft" appeared to have "three levels of windows."

    "Not a drone or satellite"

The employees also said that the object was not a plane, a satellite, a drone, or anything like that. They further said that the dark disc-like object seemed as large as a three-story building. They claimed that it remained silent throughout its appearance, it tipped at an angle and headed east when the group was watching it with full attention.

    3320 UFO sightings in Colorado

This is not the first time that such a claim has been made. The National UFO Reporting Center has said that there have been 3320 UFO sightings reported in Colorado. It comes second after Oregon with 3,587 sightings reported.

Talking to 'USA Today' in October last year, Peter Davenport, Director of the National UFO Reporting Center said that the non-profit does not get too excited about reports of that nature, because there are many lights in the sky, stars and planets, of course, satellites.

NASA: No evidence to suggest UFOs

Earlier, NASA’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Independent Study Team said in its 36-page report in September that no evidence has been found to suggest UFOs or UAPs are of extraterrestrial origin.
