Na postawie trzech tekstów, dla których łatwo znaleźć na sieci tłumaczenia na różne języki, próbuję porównać, w jakim stopniu zasoby Wikisłownika pokrywają rzeczywiste użycie słów w danym języku. Większa liczba słów w słowniku nie musi bowiem oznaczać większego pokrycia, jeśli zasoby zawierają słowa rzadko spotykane, a brakuje tych najpopularniejszych. Jeśli ktoś ma ochotę, może dopisać tu kolejny język, z linkowaniem.
