Star Trek vs. Transformers

The Federation was formed at some point after World War III and the Eugenics Wars, a volatile period of Earth's history which led to Optimus Prime and his Autobots fleeing the planet aboard Fortress Maximus while pursued by Megatron's Decepticons. Prime's Directive, Part Two In the mid 23rd century, the Federation had colonized the distant world of Cygnus Seven, within their territory but near the officially delineated Neutral Zone that divided their territory from the Klingons. Prime's Directive, Part One

While investigating the colony's primary mineshaft, Federation miners stumbled across the inert form of the Titan and accidentally reactivated the dormant Autobots and Decepticons within, Prime's Directive, Part Two causing the Decepticons to wreak havoc on the outpost. When the crew of the passing starship Enterprise investigated, they found themselves drawn into the reignited Great War between the two factions, reformatting the wounded Fortress Maximus into the powerful new "Fortress Tiberius" and forcing the Decepticons into an apparent retreat. Prime's Directive, Part Four However, it soon became clear that Starscream had set out in search of a new world to claim for himself, and attacked the Klingon homeworld of Kronos; in order to save the Klingons from enslavement, the united heroes deliberately breached the zone and were able to fend off the Decepticons with some impromptu help from their Klingon rivals. In the aftermath, Captain Kirk was able to negotiate a new ceasefire between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, leaving the Decepticons in Klingon custody as part of the new terms of the agreement.
