In almost all cases, business contracts are written so that sole copyright on Transformers-related material belongs to either Hasbro, TakaraTomy or often both. TFWiki.net attempts to credit any images or material correctly. In instances where both Hasbro and Takara hold joint (or separate) copyright on an image or work, TFWiki.net generally credits Hasbro, even if the work was originally produced earlier in Japan because the work is often re-edited when brought to America (and this re-edited work has a second, longer copyright.) By acknowledging the more recent iteration, we are affirming Hasbro's claim of copyright on this material until the furthest possible date into the future.
